Eurol DOT 5.1 is recommended for ABS and ASR brake systems. Especially the low viscosity of this product compared to DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids stand out very well in these systems. It has a high ‘wet boiling point’ by which the risk of vapor lock is strongly reduced. This is important when asbestos-free brake lining is used, which produces more heat during use. DOT 5.1 can be mixed with other synthetic brake fluids, meeting FMVSS 116 DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 specifications.
